I am a qualified Level 2 Fitness instructor and a Level 3 Personal Trainer (PT). My journey as a PT instructor started seven years ago at the age of 55 when I was diagnosed as type 2 diabetic due to being overweight. The diagnosis was an emotional shock to my family and me. I committed myself that day to turn my life around and dedicated entirely to the process of reversing my diabetes.
With the help of my fantastic trainer Chris Burke, I dropped six stones within six months, and within three months, I put my diabetes entirely into remission (with me taken off high blood pressure medication for the first time in 12 years).
My approach to fitness and being healthy is informed by my personal experience and expertise as a qualified level 3 PT instructor.
I could not have done this without Chris Burke's support, and I will always be grateful for that. As he helped me in my journey to become healthy, I want to help you towards your goals to become more healthy. If I can do it, anybody can.
